Universities are about to be given targets for carbon reduction. Expect arguments about the best approach

Gov't targets inevitably produce an estate management model.

Whilst this is a start, a begining, it is not what we really need.

What we need is a change of heart, a wish to live differently.

The recent credit crunch provided an opportunity to do something different, unfortunately it looks and feels like "business as usual". This will not do.

In education we need to re-think the curriculum.
