The Great Plant Hunt
To coincide with the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth, the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Wellcome Trust have created The Great Plant Hunt, which aims to get primary school children out and about and excited by nature.
In Spring 2009, every maintained primary schools will receive a treasure chest full of free resources.
The resources are mapped to the primary science curriculum and include activities for children aged five to 11.
